The idea is to fill the bar in order to make a new mushroom appear. In addition, you'll earn money for each mushroom, although it's not clear what this money is for.

That said, there's no gallery where you can see all the mushrooms you've acquired or anything like that. The only thing you'll be able to see is a mushroom and little else, so the entertainment value of this title is somewhat limited.
